Rouse House Turkey Bowl hats

I have been working on a project for my SIL. Every Thanksgiving morning her neighbors host "The Rouse House Turkey Bowl" for the neighborhood. There are two teams for touch football. Last Thanksgiving we were there to watch the game. SIL suggested that I make hats for the two teams so we could better tell who was on which team. Today I completed the first black hat. I will also be making orange ones. The colors represented are the Bengals and Anderson Twp. high school's team colors, so we thought they would be appropriate. I nixed the idea of embroidering a small turkey on each hat--too labor intensive! The pattern for the hat is from Patti Pierce Stone.

Angel flying to Nova Scotia

I haven't been doing much stitching lately, but yesterday I sent an angel I made on Sunday to Nova Scotia. A digitizer requested angels for one of her testers whose husband had passed away. They had no children, so the widow is pretty much alone. The angel is from C-Some Stitches and stitched out beautifully.
